Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both attorneys. When she was a kid, she went to the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma decided to be an actor when she was six. For several years, she attended the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing as well as dancing, and also acting. When she was ten, she had appeared and played the lead in various Stagecoach productions as well as school plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The movie adaptation of J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was cast for the first time in 1999. Emma was discovered by Emma's Oxford Theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after 8 auditions. They were selected as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's screen debut was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's release in the year 2001. It also was the film that was most popular of 2001. Opening weekday and weekend ticket sales were record-breaking. Reviewers have been highly lauding the film as well as the performance of the three young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British paper, praised her for her outstanding performance. Emma received five awards in recognition of her work in the movie.
